Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education
The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is the largest provider of higher education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a large public university system in the United States. It is the tenth-largest university system in the United States and 43rd largest in the world. The system comprises 14 state-owned schools, all of which are NCAA Division II members by virtue of being members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Middle States Commission on Higher Education
The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools(Middle States Association or shorter as M.S.A.C.S. or M.S.A.) is a voluntary, peer-based, non-profit association dedicated to educational excellence and improvement through peer evaluation and the proper accreditation of public and private universities, colleges, secondary high schools, and elementary schools in the United States and foreign institutions of American origin. It is one of the six regional accreditation organizations dating back 125 years, recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania
The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP), the only statewide organization that serves exclusively the interests of private higher education within the Commonwealth, exists to complement and support the work of campus leaders. As the voice of independent higher education within the state, the Association seeks to inform the broader public including prospective students and their families about the colleges and universities that make up its membership. In short, the Association serves as a single point of contact for an entire sector.
